Launching MVP that gets the job done or launching full, premium version directly?

Most of the YouTubers and people I meet say get something working, publish it, then if people like it you can spend more time and work on it. Dont waste your time.

I don't agree. I have 2 reasons:

  1. Appstore boosts your app when it's new launched. So you get free marketing. And if retention, conversion rate is low your impressions drop. Thats why I believe if you dont have marketing budget you should publish your app in a very good, final condition to get your first users.

  2. Its very hard to make someone pay for something. How would you really understand if your app has potential or not if its only the "basic" version? Maybe people were looking for more functionality?

What do you think about this dilemma!
