CCL Application being "investigated."

So me and a buddy took our Illinois conceal carry course back in December and he finally got his on the mail today. Instead of coming home and getting mine as well, I got a notification via email saying that my application was being reviewed and investigated under Illinois 430 ILCS 66/15 due to "objection by law enforcement." I haven't been arrested in almost 20 years, have had no mental health issues, and have ZERO convictions on my record whatsoever.

Anyone else from Illinois in here or any other state that has a Conceal Carry licensing procedure ever run into something like this? It was a pretty huge bummer. Could this just be a "random" pull based on my Hispanic name?

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
