Volunteer needed for College Assignment
Hello! I'm an Early Education Major in California, USA.
I’m completing a research assignment for an early childhood education course on equity and anti-bias education. I’m seeking a volunteer to interview whose cultural background differs from mine.
The interview will explore: family and cultural traditions and identity, child-rearing practices and parenting beliefs (past and present), schooling experiences during childhood, children’s play and early education experiences/values, and perspectives on diversity, inclusion, and bias in early learning environments. The goal is to take what I learn from someone else’s experience, do further research, and write about the impact and implications that can apply to early childhood teachers and committing to anti-bias education.
The interview would be completely voluntary and respectful, and I’m happy to do it over Reddit messages, Discord, or email (whatever feels most comfortable for you). I am not looking for any identifying information—your name can be whatever you are comfortable with. I am just interested to hear about your experience.
Thank you for reading!
