Shed home / liveable shed/ class 1a
*We live in rural WA
*council allows shed homes
*only custom builders where we are but WAYYY out of budget for a tiny brick house
Hi All, we are looking at building a shed home (class 1a) a livable dwelling, the kit we’ve been quoted 120k for a 12mx30m this includes delivery, install and the slab for a standard shed so we would need to pay to have engineered to be 1a - what would we be looking at cost wise ?
We where hoping to get a local builder to do the install to make it habitable, we are extremely time poor (fifo hubby) and 2 kids under 2.
We ourselves can do the painting, floor boards, kaboodle kitchen, landscaping and any earth works.
Do you think we could have a builder do a habitable extremely basic fit out just to pass council for under 300k ?
Then over time we can do the rest ourselves ?
All and any advice needed and appreciated!
