Should I get the game?

There's probably a million posts about this already, and I guess it's kind of dumb for me to ask in a subreddit about the game, but I'll ask anyway. I've seen some reels on it, just like minor spoilers of executions I think, but the fanbase looks interesting and so I'm considering trying it out. But the problem is, I'm like really bad with horror, I've never played a single horror game before. I read that it's not like jumpscare scary, but the trailer looked somewhat creepy and I don't want to buy the game just to never play it. I don't think it's worth to play a game if I'm just going to be terrified the whole time, it just doesn't seem all that enjoyable. Plus, I heard it's a long game and I don't want to get burnt out of it either.
