Eva foam questions!! Gluing, detailing and painting

Hello! I’m starting to buy some things to make my cosplays and had a few questions.

Is there a specific glue to use for EVA foam for a good and tight fit so nothing will fall off? I have used Aleenes and one other type that was in a tube but that was for a different kind of foam.

Will a blow dryer work ok if I wanted to curve it?

And last question, if I wanted to paint it should I just buy white Eva foam and paint it like that or buy black and do a white base coat.
