2012 Ford Expedition EL 5.4 V8

Hello need a little advice I changed the timing chain on my Ford Expedition they aligned everything up correctly and the vehicle drove fine I took the vehicle on a road trip about 2 hours into the trip the vehicle cut off completely died on the freeway and then the security key popped up on the dash and start blinking after which the vehicle would not start or do anything. After reading sometime I'm showing on the internet that it's a sensor because unfortunately there's no check engine lights or anything so I'm not sure what it could be. Any advice is appreciated. It's costly so I wanna pursue this as much money saving as possible.
