Am I Overspending on My AI Shorts Pipeline?

I have a Shorts automation pipeline where I generate 5 segments of 5 seconds each using RunPod.

Right now I’m using t2v Flux1-dev for text-to-video and Wan 2.2 for image-to-video. Generating the full 25-second video takes about 10 minutes and costs around $0.40 per video.

Do you think there’s a more cost-efficient setup for this kind of pipeline? Am I missing something obvious, or is this cost pretty normal? I’m currently completely lost between all these models and can barely move forward with production.

For Shorts specifically, which model and which platform would you recommend?

I’m honestly a bit confused about which models I should be using and where I should be running them.
