Walks and horrible people

This morning we took our two dogs out for their morning walk, an indie and a german shepherd. Out of nowhere a labrador went off leash and approached us, soon his trainer came in took the labrador and left. Few people walking by, saw this happen and came up to us with allegations like, "you can't walk your dog in public". We live in a gated society, in a township, and we own our property, we're not living on rent. We were walking our dogs within the very township. Also, our dogs don't poop outside, never. They poop in our spare bathroom. These people spoke shit, as if it's a crime. Our dogs are well behaved. They don't bark on strangers, they don't chase anyone, yet, people have a problem just by the sight of a dog. Why do humans feel that they own everything around them!! I'm just frustrated with such sick people everywhere.
