How do conservatives justify widening income gaps between the middle class and wealthy?

GOP seems to have been bought by billionaires openly now and open argue that giving them tax breaks somehow helps the lower classes. How can they justify this? Data shows income gaps is widening, affordability in most areas is gone for things like healthcare housing etc. and they still claim show their tax cut policy is better.
