puppy raised with mom?

i made an account just to ask this.

i have an 11 week old small breed, not sure what breed.

she is not potty trained. im asking for advice. during the day she roams the house freely and during the night she is in her crate and only goes potty in her crate if i am late on taking her out in the middle of the night. i have the door open so she can go whenever she needs to. but she still goes potty in the house. i do have a playpen for her that i put her in when i cant watch her. however, i cant keep her in there too long or else she pees and poops everywhere (never on the potty pad) and then steps on it and smudges it all over the playpen walls because she tries to get out. she does this even though i make sure she goes outside before i put her in. i should mention that she is being raised with her mom so she can’t be in the playpen alone or else she cries and scratches to get out since she sees her through the playpen windows. this is also a reason for letting her roam as she won’t be calm unless she’s with her mom. i wouldn’t have her roaming the house if having her mom here wasn’t so disruptive. do i limit her space to just her playpen and take her outside frequently?. im not sure how to do potty training with these circumstances.
