Is the MacBook Air M1 still good for photographer in 2026?

Hi everyone,I'm a hobby photographer,planning to buy a portable device for tethering and edit photo on the go.

I mainly use Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC,Affinity series,sometimes Davenci editing.

I got macbook air m1 and ipad pro 12.9 2021 in my sight now,does them fits my needs?

For the ram,16GB sounds like a sweet point.

I got an NAS and gaming PC so storage and in home editing will not be a problem i think.

Macbook m2 looks more sharper,but save some money for camera is always good option for me...
