Panzer Dragoon Saga: Uru bug on beetle saturn core?

Hey guys, I've recently got into panzer dragoon, currently playing Zwei. I've read that PDS doesn't work on the beetle core in retro arch because of a bug in Uru, but all posts I've seen are years old, and one seemed to imply that its only an issue on android. I can use Kronos if necessary, but beetle seems to run a lot better.
Does anyone know if the Uru glitch is still an issue in 2026?
