Wireless CarPlay not working (solution)

I just struggled for an hour to fix an issue where my iPhone 17 pro could not connect wireless to our 2024 CX90 PHEV.

Things I tried:

Removing the Mazda WiFi profile from iphone

Removing the Mazda Bluetooth profile from iphone

Resetting the Mazda infotainment

Updating the Mazda infotainment

Resetting the network connections on iPhone

Finally I was able to resolve it by going into the iPhone settings -> general -> CarPlay

I then deleted the Mazda profile and re-added it via the same section and it worked!

I figured I would share for anyone having the same issue. I probably should have gone there sooner but did not realize it existed.
