I just got my Steam Deck, What games should I play and what are some basic tips? Any suggestions?

My friend got me a Steam Deck for my birthday and I am wondering what are the games I should play as a Steam Deck newbie, what are the must plays and maybe some tips in general??

Thanks everyone
