Food recommendations in Johor Bahru

I am huge foodie at heart and I love to explore.

To make it fair, I will list down some of the food that I would recommend as well

• Bao Bei Japanese Ramen(HQ)

[Ramen Noodles were pretty good, broth was very rich. Lost of variety. its secluded so its not as noisy, I was given free mandarin oranges and it was really sweet, 3 for each person. Aside from that they also sell sushi which was pretty good, food profile was really good. Im picky with my salmon and it passes ! Altho it isnt as sweet as I hoped for, it genuinely melts in ur mouth. For the service given, quality of food. It was definitely a steal in my pov]

• Ramen Bankara

[Best Ramen in Jb in my pov]

• Meng Meng Duck Rice

[They sell both duck and chicken, soup is delicious and the rice is fragrant. Never once has it been overcooked. Standard stays the same despite years of frequenting]

• Coconut Milk Cafe

[Their nasi lemak is soo good that it will be gone by 12 pm. Rice is very fragrant and the chicken is well fried. Theres many options aside from their nasi lemak as well]

• Sushi Zento

[I love the interior of the restaurant itself, its like idn to go to Japan:P Aside from that as I said, im very picky with my salmon.The salmon not only melts in ur mouth but its incredible sweet. Not at all grainy]

• Goro Goro Hamburg Rice

[This ended up being very nostalgic for me, u can see the food is cooked with care and attention. Rice is delicious and I love the mix in the Hamburg itself. Customer service is immaculate. Theres this old man that works there, he is incredibly nice. I love the miso soup too.Im a frequent customer there for sure]

Ive been looking for spots that does a good pork belly, dumplings, burger, Char Kway Teow with cockles, more variety for chicken rice, Wanton Noodles, Fish & Chips, Steak, Beef Noodles, Bahn Mian, places that opens till late, Seafood that does good fish and stir fry vegetables, affordable oysters, underrated buffets, good for money kbbq
