How to not be anxious about work
I started an entry level office job in January, and it’s my first “real” office job. Ever since I started, I’ve been in a constant state of anxiety. I’m always scared of making mistakes, not being good enough, or that they’ll realize they made a mistake hiring me.
For context, I have to work in both English and French. I’m very comfortable in English, but French is my third language (Spanish is my first language) so I get terrified every time I have to answer calls or help customers in French. I think that definitely adds to the anxiety.
I really want to do well, but the pressure I put on myself to be perfect is exhausting. If anyone has advice on how to deal with this constant fear of messing up at work or feeling like you’re not good enough, I’d really appreciate it.
PD: I have made some mistakes at work already because Im pretty much still new (3 weeks of really being operational after training) So when will they not consider me as a new employee?
