couple questions / concerns i had were;
-
i want to keep car rental days on the same day as possible. because parking at the HHV is $70/day. so we WONT be parking there. Is there an option where we can do a daily car rental? or an option that DOESNT charge us for parking? (i remember i saw a thread on reddit about it... but i cant find it anymore) how good of an option is Turo?
-
on day 1, we first plan to start the day with the diamond head hike. we DONT have reef safe sunscreen. is it ok to use standard sunscreen if we WONT be going into the beach? (plan is to buy reef safe sunscreen and anything else we may need including boardshorts after the hike + Kapi’olani Park before heading back to hotel to wash up)
-
any decent place to buy boardshorts we can use for snorkerling, beach activities, lounging at pool, etc?
-
Day 4. i have a meeting i CANT miss no matter what that starts at 12:30pm and ends at around 3pm. whats something we can do before then, as well as after? should we move some other things around from other days to this day?
-
for day 5, i think this is a tricky day? we plan on starting the day with the Ocean voyage thats on gocity pass. as early as possible (i think thats 8:40am) i heard good things about the UTV tour but my mom is not a fan. but also she has asthma and everyones saying its super dusty. i am also not a fan of the though of it being super dusty. nor it being very muddy. especially since its not going to be the end of our day. So instead, we're thinking of doing the Kualoa Secret Island beach half day thats on gocity. is this worth it?
-
with day 5, will we have enough time to check out Hoomaluhia garden and byodin temple since they close at 4pm? (Either Ocean voyage tour + Haflday secret island tour. or Ocean voyage tour + 1hour UTV tour. the latter definitely seems possible. but not sure about the first option.)
-
day 6 any recommendations on what to check out / do at Kapolei?
-
based on this schedule, we still have 2 full days left. there are some things i left out on a list of things we looked up for hawaii. but wondering if we should just leave it blank? i assume some things will go out of whack and everything wont necessarily go according to plan. so having 2 days buffer seems fine?
