1st doctor appt @ 7 weeks

Hi! I’m 4.5 weeks now, just found out. I called my doctors office and they made me an appointment at 7 weeks. They didn’t offer to confirm the pregnancy or anything with a blood test which I’ve heard is common?

Should I ask for that or just wait until the 7 week ultrasound?

I feel so happy but also anxious. Every time I go to the bathroom I worry that something will be wrong or the pregnancy wont last. I keep telling myself to take it day by day and not focus on it too much - trying to keep distracted.
