AirBnB Bonus Offer

I got the Airbnb offer of 5k Amex points if you spend $250+, offer that expires 5/5/26. I wondered if spent the $250+ today would I get the 5k relatively soon or would these programs usually wait until the expiration date even if completed sooner? (Shameless but you can probably tell I’m 5k away from my trip being fully covered)
