3.8high 17low applicant with narrow options looking for a sanity check
I've only applied to four schools, all in SoCal. I'm 5+ years out of undergrad with 5+ years of legal assistant WE. I kept my list short in part because I know I want to stay in this part of the country.
I kept a number of local schools off my list because of employment outcomes, bar passage rates, reputation, and horror stories on Reddit and other forums. I'm wondering if it's time to let go of those judgments and apply more broadly around the region. I'm eyeing the end of February and feeling the pressure I've put on those 4 application decisions mounting.
I know I'm insane for the short list! My decision to apply this cycle came to me pretty late, and I've had a bit of tunnel vision moving through each step of the process while working full time. So, what strategic moves would you make at this point in the cycle? Be kind!
thanks in advance
