Rent to own, any advise?

My parents are both old na but still working, may ipon naman. And i just graduated and starting pa lang sa life. My parents want me to look on the market ng mga rent to own place in our area. The thing is, i dont know where to start, how to look, what to consider. Im still to this adult things so i dont know what to do. I have no other adults to talk to, like what i have said, my parents are both old 50+ so they dont know the process to. I just want to know if this is a good idea, and how to start this. Thank you.
