[Online][Other][LGBTQ+ Friendly][Kids on Bikes][Alternating Saturdays PST]

This will be a high roleplay, low combat game of exploring a paranormal Victorian London in the Kids on Bikes system. It will primarily be a dark and dreary game with levity coming primarily from the characters. Think of Edgar Allen Poe, Carnival Row, Sweeney Todd, and Frankenstein, but also Sherlock Holmes and Corpse Bride!

You are either a citizen of London trying their best to get by, but have started realizing paranormal creatures are becoming less common, or you are a member of Scotland Yard's Paranormal Division, investigating why paranormal creatures seem to be disappearing.

Humans have the power, but orcs, goblins, faeries, gnomes, vampires, ghosts, and more exist as well. (There's no mechanic to being a paranormal creature on the player side, but you can feel free to be not-human!) This is just before the turn of the century and many rights have not been established. Paranormal creatures do not have citizenship rights, right to own land, and few factory/labor rights. Most work whatever job they can get, and that might not be legal. Brothels are common, with prostitution being the 4th most common female job.

Being an asexual, genderfluid, narrative driven GM, I expect people to be adults about adult content and to communicate with each other about when something goes over your line of comfortability.

Expect a robust session zero and a round of Lines and Veils to make sure we are all on the same page for what we are okay with. I am currently looking for two more players.
