Level 1 Charging in Winter Question
Would a level 1 charger be enough to charge an EV if left plugged in for 4 days straight in -30 C winter?
For some background, I work about 160 km outside of a city for 5 days, meaning I drive 160 km to work on Monday and I drive back to the city on Friday (another 160 km). When I am at my work site during the week, I stay at an apartment and basically just park my car for the entire week and can leave it plugged in from Monday morning to Friday morning. Will level 1 charging be able to trickle charge an EV in -30 C winter enough for my drive back or will it be simply warming the battery enough to not lose any charge?
Any insight will be appreciated!
