Symptoms after SA

Question

Back in August I was SA’d by a friend and pretty much became bedridden from depression and suicidal ideation. I withdrew from my semester at university, had to take leave from work etc. I was hospitalized and went through intensive treatment afterward, diagnosed with PTSD and repressed memories of childhood SA resurfaced around this time also.

These days I’ve been extremely fatigued. I used to be able to work 7 days a week and go to uni, these days 4 days of school and 2 days of work is barely doable. I feel like I constantly have brain fog and can’t be in the present moment. Simple everyday tasks are exhausting and any social interaction makes me feel really uncomfortable and alienated, I avoid it as much as I can.

I feel like something is wrong. I have been through traumatic situations before and it has never impacted me for this long. People in my life are noticing and I don’t know how to explain myself. I just say it’s “health issues” but even that feels misleading. Is it reasonable to believe I am still ‘recovering’ from the events last fall? Or is it possible I just gotten used to living an isolated, anxious life? I am worried that I need to be pushing myself to engage more with people and my life in general. I just have never struggled this badly before and I feel like I have no energy to give, can’t focus, etc. Just curious if anyone has similar experiences or advice
