Stats that got me rejected from UTđź’”(Reverse chance me for nursing)
Honestly this admissions cycle has been absolutely crazy. I really thought I was a solid candidate and still am in shock, especially considering my other acceptances to OOS schools like michigan

Result: Capped for nursing despite getting into other very competitive programs OOS such as UMich and Florida, as well as interviewed and received a full ride from a Private school with a prestigious med program
UT has been my dream since I was little and although I understood there was a chance of not being selected, I genuinely thought I was a very solid applicant.
It has also been somewhat confusing for me hearing that all the people I know that have gotten into the Nursing program are not top 10% nor have competitive test scores.
What is UT’s criteria for nursing? Especially considering that UT makes it clear there are NO early action option for nursing, hearing that they randomly released some decisions with early action has been even more frustrating (did not receive any decision until I was capped)
I guess I don’t understand what UT wants for nursing applicants. This has been my dream school and not getting in has been devastating
