Chance Me For UMD In-State Transfer

Hello All,

I am a transfer applicant for the Fall semester and I just wanted someone to chance me if possible? I am a Maryland community college student, MTAP participant with a 3.5 GPA, 22 completed credits, 14 more in progress (I guess since I don’t meet the 30 credit requirement, I’d be reviewed as a regular transfer applicant). Since I’m under 30 completed, my final HS stats are a 3.7 UW/4.2 Weighted GPA, 6 Honors and 4 APs (pretty light, I know), with a few extracurriculars like Allied Sports, a JV Sport, and student ambassador. My intended major is Special Education, and my essay also highlights my passion for special education. I know this was a lot to dump on whoever might be reading all of this but I just wanted to give as much information as I could to someone who could help me out and make a reasonable estimate.
