Built a SaaS to fix my own problem… hit 100 users just from Reddit in 3 weeks
I didn’t start with market research or big plans. I built Layercy just to solve my own daily problem with repetitive design and content edits. Instead of running ads, I shared progress, small demos, and honest mistakes on Reddit communities where people already talked about the same pain. No aggressive pitching, just conversations and quick improvements from feedback. It slowly crossed 100 real users. Big lesson for me: when you build for yourself and show the journey publicly, marketing feels less like selling and more like helping people discover you.
