Attn: Canadian Sistren and the like

What is the current climate for you and your beliefs within your town/city/province? What is your community like? What sort of access do you have to events or stores or anything?

Backstory: I am researching moving to Canada, not sure when or where yet. Since the passing of the C-3, I’m a “found Canadian” and in the process of proving citizenship. My ancestors were from Quebec but sadly assimilated and passed down no French language skills. I have mostly lived in centrist or liberal leaning US cities.

Any advice, thoughts, laments, or concerns are welcome relating to any of the above situation.
