Picking up DD, new city though

I recently moved to a new city, new state, and whilst I’m waiting for my licenses and things to finalize, I need to get some income coming. I am thinking of picking up dashing out here in the mean time

I am currently in Seattle, but have started to get some dashing done in the emmonds / lynnwood areas. It’s only been a few days, but I’d like to see if anyone here also does dashing on this side of Washington and how your experience is going? Any tips?

Also, can someone please explain to me the EBT option vs Per order q bit better than the app lol. This is a new option for me, as I think it started when I stopped doing DoorDash a few years ago. Which do you prefer / recommend to use? I’ve noticed when I do EBT I get orders coming in like crazy, and while I know they usually throw in the orders other dashers pass over or the crappy pay out ones, I notice that these usually come to me when I have closer Merchant — Delivery distances. If I select earn per order, my wait times are muuuuuuch longer, and it just feels like I’m creepily waiting at a hot spot just waiting for orders to come my way!
