[12 YoE] Backend Engineer (Ex-iOS Engineer) Seeking Staff Engineer Resume Feedback

Hi everyone 👋

I’m a software engineer with 12 years of professional experience — 6 years as an iOS developer and the last 6 years focused on backend engineering.

I’m actively targeting Staff Engineer roles (backend / distributed systems ) and have updated my resume accordingly, but I’m not sure if it’s making the right signal to recruiters and hiring managers.

Specifically, I’m looking for feedback on:

• Clarity of role progression (iOS → backend)
• Impact vs. responsibilities in bullets
• Use of metrics / technical detail where it matters
• Suitability for Staff-level expectations
