Roth Portfolio Allocations

Investing

I opened a Roth IRA with Schwab 5 years ago with initial allocations of 60% SCHB, 30% SCHF, 10% SCHH. Basically, I was trying to do a Boglehead lazy "core four" portfolio without the bonds as I was trying to be aggressive (making up for not saving while in college and grad school).

Anyway, I've contributed every year and rebalanced as necessary, but I was wondering if I should do a larger restructuring. Specifically:

  1. I realized that REITs are probably not want I want early on while I'm trying to grow. Would it be bad to step down to a 60/40 or 70/30 SCHB/SCHF split?
  2. Is it worth doing more complicated splits with large/small caps, emerging/developed markets, etc.? if so, do you have a recommendation.
