Looking for some advise/suggestions

I’m a Glock guy but am ready to switch over to S&W. I’ve been looking at the MP 2.0 compact or the carry comp. I’ve been looking at them for some time and wondered if the metal frame is truly an upgrade or is it about the same as the polymer? Obviously the metal frame is enticing but is it truly worth the extra money? Is there much feel or performance difference between the two? Any advise or recommendations would be appreciated!
