I have packages from Japan shipped to the US often. This was my first time using DHL and my deputy/proxy service sent to packages. One showed up really quickly and this second one has been on hold in Cincinnati since 2/5/26. I submitted the information requested the same day it was requested (2/7/25) and it took me almost 8 hours to research it all. cspga reached out on 2/10/26 because my genius idea to sign & date my spreadsheet and scanning it in caused it to be blurry. So I sent the details regarding the item in question and the whole spreadsheet again because I put in the work to research everything. I haven’t heard anything since 2/10/26. I sent an email just now asking if there was anything else they needed. I’m reaching out to my proxy service to see if they can send me the label for the item they asked about so if necessary, they can open the package and confiscate it (if that is even a thing.) What else can I do at this point??

I had another package sent from Japan via FedEx on 2/15/26 and it is scheduled to arrive TOMORROW. I have dealt with filling out paperwork with FedEx and went with DHL because I’ve heard from others that it was better. This has been the worse experience I have had dealing with a shipping company and I’ve been importing stuff for 25 years now.
