any one else have a compulsion where you check your texts to see if someone got back to you?

I’ve seen ppl compulsively check their messages to make sure they didn’t accidentally send something but this is fully just waiting for a reply. It also exclusively happens w potential romantic interests which makes it even more distressing to me
