Should I wait until after my surgery to buy new clothes?

5'3", 28F.

I have endo surgery scheduled for summer—most likely May or June. My #1 symptom is HUGE endo belly, and hopefully, my surgery helps me a ton with bloating.

I'm also in the midst of a weight loss journey. I've gone from 185lbs to 140lbs since July 2024, and my goal weight (125lbs) won't be hit until June. I stopped buying new clothes last fall, because when I bought something new, it would be baggy on me within a month. I said fuck it, I'll just wait until I'll hit my goal weight and have a fun time revamping my closet with new clothes then.

I'm so excited to toss out my frumpy old clothes, but I'm guessing I should wait until after surgery + my goal weight, right?

For those who've had endo surgery + it really helped their bloating, what would you recommend?
