OCD and having a puppy

does anyone else struggle with having a puppy and also having OCD? sometimes it’s a nightmare for me. we have a 6 month old puppy that we got back in october when he was 8 weeks old. when we first got him, he had giardia and that was a stressful nightmare, but his fecal test came back negative after treatment and he’s all good. however, now whenever he has squishy poop, my OCD brain freaks out. last night he had diarrhea and this morning he’s totally normal - playful, ate breakfast, drinking water, acting himself. but my OCD really clings on to the what ifs and uncertainty, i feel the urge to constantly check if he’s okay and i am constantly convincing myself that anything slightly off = sudden death for him. i don’t want to reassurance seek or anything, just curious how other OCD people deal with this.
