Audi Q4 e-tron packages are pretty confusing

There have been so many changes to Q4 e-tron trims and packages between 2022 and 2025 — including mid-year refreshes, new packages added, old ones changed or retired — it's been super hard to figure out what comes with what.

(Doesn't help that most used car listings don't include all the info, or get stuff wrong)

The sport seats are a bit too "pinchy" on my hips, so I want to avoid those, and I'm looking more at the '22 and '23 models to keep the cost down.

It took hours of research to realize:

• The 2022 S-line package came with sport seats
• Then S-line styling became standard for 2023 models, but ONLY added exterior design elements — no sport seats or flat top steering wheel.
• To get sport seats/squared steering wheel in 2023 you had to tick the Black Optics box — or avoid cars with that option in my case.

Fortunately, Audi introduced the sport package in 2025 which gives you the sport seats and square steering wheel. (so does the Black Optics package, which I think adds to the confusion).
