NooDS on RG DS?

Has anyone tried the NooDS emulator on the RG DS? I see everyone using drastic but no one has a post/video about NooDS? It is a newish DS open source emulator and it's also available on the Google Play (one caveat, it does require bios files). I have used it on my PS Vita and it keeps getting better with every release. I really want to purchase a RG DS but the lack of power is concerning.

tl;dr

Has anyone tried/willing to try the NooDS emulator on their RG DS and what is the experience?
