Inflamed bump on hand?

My daughter (10Y Female) has had a small bump on her hand for a while now. Originally, we thought it was a small molluscum bump, but as of this weekend, it grew in size and started to look irritated in the surrounding skin. Any ideas?

Edit: i forgot to add that she said it does hurt if something touches it, such as a pencil when writing.
