How energetic are you expected to be? (Kindie)
I am moving to Korea soon and will be working as a Kindie/Elementary school teacher. In the UK I mainly trained for primary ages 5-11 however I have taught ages 3-5 during substitute/supply teaching (I have never had a full-time class teacher role).
When I had feedback for my interviews, I was told I need to make sure I am lively and not relaxed like I was on my interviews. What do they mean? I have done songs/story telling in the UK. Do they expect you to be talking in an enthusiastic high pitched voice all the time? I am fine with doing it if it’s expected. In the UK you can be more firm so I am used to that.
