It finally happened on the 4th attempt this game finally clicked for me

I tried for 45 minutes to an hour on 3 separate occasions to play this game and I just couldn't get into it. Last Tuesday I decided to fire it up again and I can't remember the last time a game pulled me so hard. All the boss battles have been incredibly fun, the platforming is buttery smooth. or at least it was once I realized my one controller seems to be having issues and I switched.

I have been reading everything I can about the lore is there any where to read or watch more explanations as to whats going on in the hollow knight world?

All I really have left is the final boss then the pantheon stuff and the last two parts of the Grimm Troupe I'm sad that I am getting close to the end of my time with this one but excited that Silksong is out so I can tackle that next.
