I feel like I've been quietly championing the BattleXP G350 since I started my channel. I did a whole video about the different custom firmwares that you can get. where I tried them all out. I've made guides to install them. But then something happened over Christmas that threw a bit of a spanner in the works.

ArkOS sank!

Enter dArkOS, the same system but built on Debian, a much newer technology.

There's been a lot said about this operating system. Some people have claimed that it will run things 500 times faster than the previous version.

It won't.

It's very good, and it seems very solid, and I enjoyed using it, but it's pretty much what you've got with ArcoOS, just based on newer technology. It has become my favourite operating system for the G350 at the moment, however, and it's certainly easier to install than ArkOS was, as there's a specific download for that console.

Since starting my channel, I think some of the most useful stuff I've put out has been helping people get set up and running with devices.

So I couldn't let the release of a new operating system go by without putting together a video helping people to get up and running on their BattleXP G350.
