Built a tool to stop YouTube rabbit holes while staying informed (launched on PH today)
Hey Folks,
I follow a ton of informational YouTube channels—tech analysis, market insights, industry breakdowns. The kind of stuff that's actually useful.
The problem? I'd click "just one video" and lose 2 hours. Most 30-minute videos have maybe 5 minutes of real value buried in there anyway.
So I built Feedix - you pick the channels you care about, and it automatically summarizes new videos when they drop. Daily or weekly digest straight to your inbox. No more rabbit holes.
Went from ~2 hours/day of "productive YouTube" to 10 minutes reading summaries with my morning coffee.
Just launched on Product Hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/products/feedix
There's a free tier to start, and I've left a 50% off code for the first 3 months of Pro in the PH comments—grab it while it's available!
Here's a quick tutorial on how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDE3Nu5chWU
Would love feedback from this community—especially if you've struggled with the "YouTube as procrastination disguised as productivity" trap.
Thanks for reading 🙏
