Hyper Backup: Does the protocol matter?

Hi,

I setup hyper backup to Backblaze ages ago using S3. I'm going to switch to another provider and support documents and youtube videos showing people setting it up with S3, but also Webdav and rsync.

Does it matter which one you pick? The result is the same right?
