Is there a way to borrow against our stock portfolio to buy investment properties?

We're looking to buy 2 condos in the GTA as investment properties. At first we were going to liquidate some of our stock portfolio to do so but just wondering if there is a way to get a loan against the portfolio instead for the downpayment?

I know very high networth people can do this. Is there a way to do it for more regular folks?
