Local card shop reluctant to describe prices?

Hey guys. A reddit user messaged me about hitting up a particular TCG place in Jalan besar when I get to Singapore as they apparently are a one stop shop from grading to singles and sealed.

I messaged them about prices of a particular item, and they were reluctant to tell me how much they are, except that it is in stock and that I should come in person.

Was wondering what the rationale of this would be. In the US we have these black shops where items were sold at different prices to different people. If this is sorta the practice will give this place a miss. Cheers if you have any insight 🙂
