always wondering abt this in series and shows

i’ve been wondering, esp recently during ramadan, how come some ppl whn frm insta got more than 1m followers end up in acting and art, is it cz of skill or just hype, connections, or smth in the industry, ppl who actually studied art rarely get these roles, and these influencers get called even if they never did any real art work, is this normal now or am i missing smth ?
