Solo Activities for a Tourist?

I'm coming in May for my first solo trip is there any recommendations for things to do solo? Also some simple hikes that are safe for solo travellers! I'm coming from England I'd like to see some nature that's unique/ different from my norm. Also I'd like to check out the nightlife scene but can't seem to find much 😕.
