Super priority service no response

My partner is applying for an unmarried partner visa in the UK. He is currently on a skilled worker visa. We got a lawyer to do the application.

He paid for super priority service and did his biometrics on Tuesday at 11am. We were expecting an answer Wednesday EOD, but still no answer and it is now Thursday close to EOD.

Lawyer said that she has not received any correspondence at all from the home office. She also said super priority service can take up to 5 working days (I was under the impression this was for priority service which has a different fee)

Anyone have any advice in terms of expediting or getting a refund?
